Senior road running session

6:00pm

This is a senior road running session led by experienced qualified coaches.

Meet in the Queen Centre Melrose Road Galashiels TD1 2AD  from 5:45 pm. Run start 6:00 pm

The sessions are designed to cater for runners of all abilities.

Cost £1 per session for members. You can come along for a couple of weeks then you can consider joining the club.

Strength & Conditioning

7:00pm- 8:00pm

Will be taking a summer break and will return to the Queen Centre Monday 12th August 2019.

This is a total core workout designed for runners. and will match your ability. Please arrive at 7pm and get yourself warmed up, session start at 7:15pm. Cost £1 members and £2 non-members. Suitable for all levels of ability.

Move indoors to the Queen Centre From Tuesday 22nd October 2019.

This is a small group of mixed ages and abbilities. During the spring summer they will train outside at Tweedbank Sports Complex March – October. This group will take a weeks break on 15th October 19 and  will then move indoors to the  Queen Centre Melrose Road Galashiels TD1 2AD. from 22nd October 2019 – March 2020. Cost £2

October break 

Main Junior group no training on Thursday 17th October 2019

Training resume:Thursday 24th October 2019. Competing juniors will continue to train at Tweedbank Sports complex and non-competing juniors will go indoors to the Queen Centre Melrose Rd Galashiels

You are welcome to come along and give it a try for two weeks, after which you can consider joining the club. Please note minimum age is eight.  See web site for online  membership. Come and try athletes will also register on arrival and pay the £2 track fee.

Summer session March – October  and is for all Junior athletes. Cost £2 track fee. All juniors pay and register on arrival.

Winter session October – March competing juniors will continue to train at Tweedbank Sports complex and non-competing juniors will go indoors to the Queen Centre Melrose Rd Galashiels.

Christmas Holidays: Main juniors group last day Thursday 20th December 2018 return Thursday 10th January 2019.

Junior Christmas break

Last Training session Thursday 19th January 2019. 

Return Thursday 9th January 2019

Neils group will continue to train over the christmas period, see Neil for more information.

 

Couch to 5k

All levels of ability welcome.

Meet outside Tweedbank Running Track TD1 3RS  6.30pm cost £2 per session.

Existing group will continue to meet for an easy run.

The next couch to 5k  session will start Thursday 22nd August 2019

Membership renews every March. If you are interested in joining, why not come along and try one of our weekly training sessions first?
