A group of Harriers (most of them city based) raced the Scottish 5km Champs at Silverknowes May 2019 A cool northerly breeze which seemed to never be behind picked up throughout the evening but fast times were still run due to quality field and flat course. Lewis Thrame was first (official) Harrier home in speedy 17:01. I ran 18:15 but showed how not to run a 5km after going out far too hard so failed to meet my goal. Katie Rourke made an excellent comeback from injury in 19:23. Although in a different shade of green, Callum Thrame ran an impressive 15:44! Run of the evening though was from Zoe Pflug who knocked a huge chunk of her PB taking 1st female U20 prize in the process with 17:05!
Definitely a race for the list!
