Kacie and Jaidyn Brown set the example with excellent performances in the 1.5Km primary school race at the RunBalmoral event. Later in the day, mum Jan Brown made a welcome return to action after an injury lay-off racing well in the 5K event, with dad Gav battling the elements in the 10K race.
The weekend of family racing continued the next day at the Bluebell Run held in Dalkeith Country Park. Kacie came second with Jaidyn claiming third in the 1k run. Gav and Jan completed the 5k, with Gav winning the prize as 1st vet finisher.
