A fantastic day of hill running at the Junior Eildon Hill Race and the Senior Eildon Three Hill Race in Melrose. Young athletes kicked off the action in the morning, tackling the challenging Eildon slopes with determination, enthusiasm and plenty of impressive performances across all age groups. The event formed part of the Scottish Athletics Junior Hill Running League and showcased the strength of junior hill running talent.

In the afternoon, the 65th running of the Senior Eildon Three Hill Race delivered its usual mix of steep climbs, fast descents and spectacular views across the Borders. Runners took on the iconic route over all three Eildon Hills, producing some outstanding racing and enjoying excellent support from marshals, volunteers and spectators.

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, marshals, landowners and supporters who helped make the event such a success. Special thanks also to Tempest Brewing Co. for generously supplying every senior runner with a can of their craft beer at the finish, a much-appreciated reward after a hard day on the hills. Congratulations to everyone who took part and helped make another memorable edition of these classic Borders races.
