On a warm sunny and slightly breezy Wednesday evening three Harriers crossed the border into England looking for new hunting grounds. The Tynedale 10 km was the venue with a fast down hill first mile and slightly undulating route it was a good test and fast times were on the cards. Not to disappoint Darrell Hastie lead the team home with a strong run securing second place with a sprint finish, Marcus D’Agrosa held on for a seventh place finish just outside a Pb and the team was brought home by Wayne Jordan Mcintosh in 10th with a great run and new Pb dipping under the 35 min mark for the first time and winning his age category and also securing the team prize for the GREEN MACHINE!!!!
- A glorious day with striking autumn colours for the Gala Harriers Club cross country Championship. This Year we started at Bole side and ran along the banks of the river Tweed to Yair bridge then headed up the southern upland way to finish at Hollybush. Click here for full results
